 Great as a basic home computer September 1, 2010

I purchased this machine after doing my research. I love its portable size and appearance, and it is so quiet you can't even tell it's on. It's not a sturdy computer, so it's best to keep it on a shelf so as not to be kicked or shaken. I have had no problems with this computer other than trying to hook it up to the DSL service I previously had. They gave me a very difficult time about this situation, instead of just providing me with a new, upgraded modem, which is all it needed, since my DSL service was old. Once I changed to cable service, they had me up and running in no time. I had no other compatibility issues when I got everything set up. This computer is definitely NOT for heavy-duty use. It is perfect for internet and word-processing, which is all I use my home computer for anyway. I have no regrets about purchasing this model; this computer replaced an eMachine that I had for nearly five years with no problems other than it became outdated.

This is a great buy at under $300. I've been using this for a couple of weeks and Windows 7 has yet to crash. My other XP computer goes down at least once a day. Plenty of memory and storage for my needs. Unit started right up and it's been going strong ever since. Fast and cheap ..... what more could you want?
